The new year is here

2008 has retreated into the archives of time and I for one am happy about it. The year was heavy on everyone around. India faced its worst ever terror attack and recession is knocking the doors of the world economy. At a personal level, there were a couple of unexpected demises. It seems the year gone by was marked for the dark forces of the universe. Let us hope that 2009 will more than make up for the wounds that its predecessor has inflicted.
